

The art style is very cartoony and simplistic. It can make the game more bearable for those who don’t like roguelikes that much due to the permanent death mechanic as long as someone is alive, the game can continue. While you can play solo, something that isn’t too common in the roguelike world is making it a co-op or couch co-op. Bosses have phases to make it a bit more interesting instead of just having a lot of health, and this makes it a little harder to beat because it may cause trial and error for you to even get through to the second zone. While you keep your levels and upgrades, the progression of the zones and bosses is reset. If you happen to die, you have to restart from the beginning. There are four bosses in four different zones in order to get to the final one, and just like any roguelike fashion, you must defeat all of them in one run in order for you to get to that point.
